Architectural bureau Normundas Vilkas designed the interior of an apartment for a young family in a newly built residential complex in Lithuania.
Because of the relatively small space and low budget, the project forced architects to look for unusual solutions to common problems.
The furniture for the living room is made according to the needs of the client. The main element of this zone is a lacquered wood rack, which has enough space for storing a large number of books, and sliding doors hide the workspace with a computer.
Such racks act as functional elements in each room. The city panorama outside the windows inspires the style of the apartment with elements of coarse concrete, plywood, white walls, oak floors and laconic furniture.
