José Andrade Rocha presented a project Casa Na Mouraria - an apartment of 64 square meters. meter in Lisbon, Portugal.


Located in an old house in the historic district of the city, it had a poor layout with an ambiguous relationship between day and bedroom areas.


The architects made a number of changes - they moved the living room to the side of the street, combining it with the kitchen, thus hiding the bedrooms and the bathroom in the opposite part of the apartment, where a more intimate atmosphere was created.


The latter are hidden behind a common corridor in the form of a dark cube with sliding doors. At the same time, the architects preserved and restored the original decoration elements, including stucco, skillfully combining them with modern decor.
